I cant believe someone gave this book one star! Inscrutable Americans is BY FAR one of the funniest book (by an Indian author)I have read. It is something I keep revisiting when I'm feeling a little low are it cheers me up right away! Anurag Mathur's writing is hilarious and well timed.
I agree one could consider this slapstick and must have a stomach for occasional lewd humour, but hey, what the hell! I read to escape and what a sweet escape this is!
IF U R DOWN N GET UR MIND OF THINGS OR JUST WANNA HAVE A GREAT TIME ALONE U SHOULD READ THIS BOOK.THIS WAS 1 OF MY FIRST FICTION BOOKS THAT I READ.A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME THIS.I READ IT IN A WEEK N WHILE I WAS READING THE BOOKS I WAS LAUGHING EVEN AFTER A FEW DAYS WHENEVER I RECALLED THIS BOOK.READ IT U WILL HAVE FUN................
One of the worst books i have ever read.
Yes,there were certain funny instances here and there but overall
I dint find it exceedingly funny.Still,it was definitely well above the chetan bhagats and Ravinder Singhs....
Also, the writing style Of Anurag Mathur was quite poor.
First of all I want to thank FLIPKART.com for providing such good services.
Okay now about the book, amazing read. Story crafting is amazing
No Strong Story line
Nothing catchy/interesting to keep the reader's attention.
Just keeps describing various instances of a student doing MS @ US which is nothing great or exciting
In and all, i would say this book is avoidable and waste of time and money
