Insects Are Just Like You and Me Except Some of Them Have Wings

This book was a breath of fresh air and one that made me sit up and want to read after a long time. The author's style is completely original and beneath the quirkiness reveals an unexpected sensitivity, eye for detail, and interesting insights into human nature. Also refreshing is the way the author uses language and dialogue. Loved the unusual metaphors and the absence of cliches. In fact, loved the book enough to buy several copies as gifts for friends and relatives. Definitely recommended! Best read with a willingness to be surprised.

I'm really surprised that more people haven't heard of this book from a great new Indian publishing house. Insects is a crazy and wonderful collection of stories that capture so much, so beautifully. I've never quite read anything like this before and wish I could more often. This book is a delight and I would recommend it to anyone : )

Not recommended for occasional readers just like you and me. Does not bring much sense to your head and you sometimes forget that you are reading short stories. May be good for serious readers who wants to exploit different styles of writing.
