good but not better than i3
its good for normal usage such as browsing but it is not processor meant for gaming.
of course you can play games like fc3 , me3 ,gta 4 etc with medium graphics or low graphics(WITH A DESCENT GRAPHICS CARD).if you want games such as rivals ,watch dogs etc.i wouldnt recommend it.
it all depends upon the way it is used .another problem with it is overclocking.
I STILL RECOMMEND NEW PC BUYERS AND MEDICORE GAMERS TO GO FOR I3 OR I5 , NOT THIS ONE.IT IS ALWAYS BEST TO BUY THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY.IF...

Vinay Kumar : You are totally wrong dude ...You could not be more wrong
First of all, i3 is different architecture. If this atom and i3 has same config. even then i3 will beat it 9 ways to sunday. And second of all, the difference will be night and day. With i3, you getter better intergrated graphics to run 1080p videos so you can run it as htpc also.
But not this.
Only advantage is power consumption.
I am giving it a 3 star for it performance/power.

Intel Pentium G2020
Its a great processor in lower range with great functionality. I bought it in 3200 from outside market. You can do all of the daily life things with this processor.
I coupled it with a Gigabyte h61m s1 and 4 gb 1333 mhz RAM.
Windows experience index is 6.8 for processor which is quite impressive. Go for it.

If you are thinking to buy core i3 3rd gen or core i3 4th get processor. Forget it and buy this one.

Reviews here are completely misleading...comparision with i3???lolz...
no doubt this is a best buy for basic works....but some reviewer here listed a long difference between i3 3220 and this one....lolz...bro just copy and pasting from reviewing sites wont make you a wizard....even when i3 3220 has 2 threads disabled and downclocked at 2.9ghz it will beat this processor in all ways....its instructions per cycles (ipc) make it superior from all these ivybridge or haswell pentiums....and i donno how that reviewer suggested this one to save money and buy a better g...
