Once one of the best processor of its time, now is showing its age!!!As the time is changing even 3300/- rs G620 processor is easily beating E7500, there is no reason to buy this oldie anymore, and it is not future proof because of the 775 socket as Intel SB are going to use socket 1155 which is supported by G620.
most of the people still buy this processor because their old motherboard doesn't support newer processors. So my suggestion will be instead of spending 7100 rs on single processor you can get...
Intel G620 - 3300/-
Compatible MOBO - 2700/-
4 GB DDR3 Ram - 1200/-
Most important thing . Futureproof!!!!
I love Intel and don't consider anything else. I am using my PC since 2006 with Intel D945GPE Mother Board and Intel Core-2-Duo 2.20 Ghz E4500 processor. As there was no graphic card slot in the mother board I upgraded my Mother Board to Intel DG41RQ and installed a 2 GB Nvidia Graphic Card last year. Now, I've bought NFS The Run Game and Max Payne 3 just some days ago but when I checked the Minimum System Requirement of those two games I got stuck with my Intel Core-2-Duo 2.20 Ghz Processor which is not recommended as those two games are High Resolution Game and more over E4500 2.20 Ghz Core-2-Duo has 2MB Cache memory only. Then I decided to upgrade my processor to Core-2-Duo 2.93 Ghz E7500 as this has 3MB cache memory.
Now look at the points for which I bought Intel Core-2-Duo 2.93 Ghz:
1. Obviously the 3 MB Cache Memory that gives your PC a high speed performance.
2. Core-2-Duo is just best in comparison with Core I3 Processor. I have used Core I3 in my Sister's Laptop and then I have experienced the differences. Still love the performance of the Core-2-duo.
3. Core Thermal technology is superb.
4. No lagging and over heat issues.
5. Highly recommended and the best selling product of Intel.
Those who knows the Computer Hardware like me they will understand how Core-2-Duo is better than Core I3. So, those who have old computer cofig they should upgrade with this Intel Processor instead of upgrading to Intel Core I3 as it has lesser speed in front side bias (2.13 Ghz) than Core 2 duo (2.93 Ghz).
Now I am playing both the games NFS the Run and Max Payne 3 with no lagging and freezing issues and the Processor speed is normal within 20% running only (Windows 7 CPU Meter). and the rating of my Windows 7 PC is 5.5 with Processor rating 6.4, Ram Rating 6.4, Graphics for Aero 5.5, Gaming graphics 6.9 and primary hard disk 5.9.
Best processor ever I have.
Price is nearly equal to Intel i3 Processor. Why to go for it ?
Can Get a Quad core processor with the best clock speed in the AMD processors
Intel processors are costely Than that of the AMD
Batter way go for amd
I am using this for nearly 3 Years and I had no problem with it.
Awesome speed If u r a gamer this suits ur need but you can buy a Multicore processor from AMD at the same prize with greater clock speed.
I bought this processor as I wanted the best processor that can support Windows XP besides all latest Operating Systems. This processor runs cool without any problems. The supplied cooler is silent and effective cooling capability (for non overclocked system). It has thermal grease already applied on its base, that sticks to the processor when its installed and the processor heats up during the first run. This is the cheapest processor available in the Core Family and is really a value for money. I'm using a Gigabyte Motherboard. Highly Recommended!!
THE BUS SPEED OF THE PROCESSOR IS VERY NICE.....
2 CORES ARE VERY HELPFUL IN MULTI-TASKING...
