Great performace
I was First willing to buy the i7 2600 but my freind pritish suggested me to buy it & it didn't dissapoint me. It is a great quadcore better than my previous i5. I got it at price lower than retailer.instead of investing on i7 2600 i invested rest on geeting cooler master v6gt. But i am still using the stock cooler because i am finding trouble in installing it.

Intel i5-2500k vs AMD FX8150
Well after a long and deep study on these two finest processors....
I would go with Intel i5-2500k....!!
For People who are confused between these 2,
if you are Moderate to Heavy Gamer,or Multitask-er,
Sooner or later you are gonna feel the difference even if FX 8150 is compacted with higher specs,i5-2500k rose over almost every segment. (but with a NARROW MARGIN in few)
Trust me..its a long time while i have been searching for a good processor for my assemble...and after visiting no. of site...

Good processor with an unlocked multiplier. Almost makes the core i7 2600 pointless but for a few. For Gaming Build combine with an Biostar tz68k also available on flipkart and 8GB of dual channel ram, with a good graphics card like AMD HD6850 or GTX460 and corsair cx430 SMPS. If u want to have flexibility of future upgrades then combine with ASUS P8p67-m-pro or asus maximus IV gene-z or asus p8z68v motherboard along with a good SMPS like corsair TX650. No doubt this is a good processor. But FX 8150 is close and also cheap in price.
Those who arguing over the two brands, just check the history of Intel. Right from Pentium 3 to Pentium 4, Intel had a hard time developing a proper processor. AMD had upper hand. Only thing is Intel sold them without any problems due to their vast marketing.
So it is important to choose what's best for you and not the best in the world.

Great CPU for Gaming
I have been using this CPU for 6 months and I'm very happy with the performance this beast delivers.
Received delivery 4 days as expected. Nice packing to avoid damage.
Pros:
1) Great overclocker:
This CPU can be overclocked to 5GHz ( as per said on blogs). In my case, I'm able to overclock to 4.8GHz. To do this, I have CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler. Do not overclock with stock cooler. You might fry your CPU. I tried to overclock upto 4.2 on stock cooler and was getting temps like ...

Overclocker's Heaven heart of a gaming machine ......
extraordinary performance in overclocking, i tamed the beast to 4.2 without water cooling i am still using an old complete copper cooler (cooler master hyper 48) cpu cooler....
quite stable and optimum performance for most of the demanding titles (games) out there though i purchased it from the Nehru palace it market
it costed me a bit less than the offer at flip kart....

Well , there are enough reviews boasting about this beast on the numerous professional sites,so nothing new to say here.
I just jumped from a 2.2 Ghz Core2Duo to 3.3 Ghz i5 2500k... so the performance jump is massive.
I tested out several benchmarks
3D Mark06 gave a CPU score of 6067 with Norton 360 running in the background.
Paired it with a Asus P8h61 MPlusV2 Board for now(will get z68 later), and it works great
I can now play BATTLEFIELD 3 at High Settings paired with a HD6750 1 GB DDR5...
