a perfect blend
Intel DH67BL is an excellent motherboard having absolutely no issues regarding performance and compatibility; i just bought a new cpu- DH67BL,I3-2120 64 bit 3.3 GHz, 4gb ddr3,1 tb sata.
SOME PEOPLE(RETAILERS ESP) MIGHT TELL YOU THAT THIS PROCESSOR AND MOTHERBOARD WONT GIVE YOU THE OPTIMUM OR DESIRED PERFORMANCE(I.E NON-COMPATIBLE TO EACH OTHER) but GO TO INTEL WEBSITE, intel has a facility of comparing processors with motherboards (vice-versa).COMPARE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF AND THEN DECIDE!
This config can handle heavy computing(multi tasking in efficient manner) as well. DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS OF INTEL DH67BL IS AVAILABLE IN THE DATASHEET AT INTEL SITE. :)

Perfect board for home computers with excellent media capability
I recently got this board and an Intel i3-2120 processor for the same with 2 DDR3, 4GB RAM modules from Transcend. This was the 1st time I assembled a computer and must say that it was pretty easy and straightforward with the detailed diagrams and other instructions.
It successfully booted the 1st time and I just had to update the BIOS to the latest version. The rest of it (Drivers etc. for Windows 7 64-bit) are available from the Intel website directly. The media capabilities are also very rich for general home use. May not be the best for hardcore gaming though without adding a separate graphics card.

Awesome mainboard.
This is a very good motherboard and is very future proof. It has USB3, E-sata, SATAIII, onboard HDMI, 2 pcix1 slots, 3 pci slots for maximum expansion capability. Anyone who thinks this board is overpriced needs to understand that this board is extremely future proof. Within some months USB3 pen drives and other stuff will become mainstream and people with no USB3 will drag with slow speed of USB2.Has HDMI as well so that's a plus. This board had serious issues with DIMM slots back in 2011 but now the issue has been resolved by Intel.

lots of ports & really fast usb 3.0 support
i am using this mobo with core i5 2400 3.1 ghz cpu...system is really fast..especially the data transfer rate..
windows experience index are as follows:
windows aero:4.6
3D business & gaming Graphics:5.8
m able to play assasins creed without any external graphics card with ease..
cons:
graphics performance could have been a little better in contrast to cheaper motherboards...

This is a hidef media motherboard so if you don't have a hi fi speakers or hd monitor you can go for the CHEAPER h61 chipset or if you are into gaming go for the FAR BETTER z68 ones.
THIS MOTHERBOARD IS FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED LOT OF PORTS(internal as well as external).
And for motherboards always go for ASUS,nothing else.
I had to buy this since the ASUS one was out of stock.
