Intel DH67CL Motherboard

Intel had recalled the early lot of this and other h67 chipset motherboard due to fault which degraded sata II ports performance over time. A new range was introduced later in 2011 after rectifying this issue - Rev. B3, also known as DH67CLB3.

I got a very good deal on flipkart but had to cancel due to lack of clarity on the available stock.

H67 provides the functionality of onboard graphics when paired with an intel sandy bridge processor at v.good value but does not allow overclocking. The board provides plenty of ports. If your budget permits buy a z68 motherboard or go for h67 with B3 rev.

There are many differences between a Z68 and a H67 chipset based motherboard.Firstly, most of the Z68 motherboards come with UEFI Bios(Graphical bios).where as only a few else none from H67 category come with UEFI . Secondly,Z68 supports "Lucid Vitru" , it means that if u are using a graphic card with the computer, the onboard graphics on the processor wont go waste, whenever GPU intensive tasks are started GPU acceleration is utilised when on idle the onboard graphics is utilised,H67 dosent support this feature.Thirdly, Overclocking!! Z68 supports overclocking where as H67 dosent support overclocking.Z68 is a blend of H67 and p67.Lastly u will get more features in Z68 platform.
This motherboard is great for home purposes and for casual gaming.i has SATA 6.0Gbps and USB 3.0 so great value Mobo and one backdraw is that it dosent have all solid capasitors.

It is a B3 version so no worry about the fault in initial releases. Its revised version is indicated in labels inside the box and also on the box with other specifications.

Works flawless, lot of ports and supports USB 3.0, eSata, Sata 6.0 etc. except PCI x16 3.0, but ok as most of Graphic cards support PCI x16 2.0 slot.

I personally check out in the official intel web site and compare this with other MB like Z68 chipsets(comes in Q2,11) and the DH67 chipsets(Q1,11) amongst all that this is the best one,as compare to rate.
