International Economic Relations

Gautam Murthy, M.Phil.Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Economics, Centre for Indian Ocean Studies (C.I.O.S), Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. His areas of specialization are International Economics, and South-Studies. He has done his Ph.D. in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, University of Poona, on the topic "Trade and Export Instability in the ASEAN Economics". He has also served on the Faculty of XLRI, Jamshedpur, and the Centre for Organisation Development, Hyderabad. He has many years of teaching and research experience at Osmania University. He has taught M.Phil. students at C.I.O.S, and also M.A. students at Osmania University's College for Women. He has published two books, and over 25 Research Articles in leading Journals.
