About Y. Daniel Liang
Y. Daniel Liang is the Yamacraw Professor of Software Engineering at the Department of Computer Science, Armstrong Atlantic State University. A graduate of Fudan University in Shanghai, Dr. Liang pursued his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. He has served as an associate professor in computer science at Purdue University in Fort Wayne and received the Excellence in Research award, twice for his work in Computer Science. Dr. Liang has also published several papers in in SIAM Journal on Computing, Discrete Applied Mathematics, Acta Informatics, and Information Processing Letters and has written over thirty books. He was elected a Java Champion in 2005 by Sun Microsystems, and has also written: Introduction to Programming with C++, Introduction to Programming Using Python 3, and Introduction to Java Programming with JBuilder.
