Who would have thought that Dorothy Baker's life would change so drastically with the unexpected death of her husband? Overwhelmed with shock, grief and loneliness, Dorothy moves in with her widowed sister Elaina. Tragedy strikes again. Elaina dies. Wanting to start over, Dorothy moves to Florida. Dorothy expects her new life to blend in with those of the other aging retirees. However, when she meets Lil Betterman, who is also a widow and moved to Florida knowing no one, retirement takes on a whole new meaning. Besides their similarities, they have an uncanny sense about people. When they are told that one of their newly found friend's husbands dies suddenly, intuition tells Dorothy and Lil he was murdered. As they follow their intuition and come closer to discovering the truth, Dorothy and Lil find themselves going down a path of danger.
