There are currently more than 114 Pocket Naturalist "TM" guides covering national, regional, state, and city-specific nature topics including "the wildlife of...," "the birds of...," "the trees & wildflowers of..." etc. With titles for 42 of the 50 states, Waterford will have at least one Pocket Naturalist title for every U.S. state by the end of 2003.
Waterford's Pocket Traveler series consists of guides for language, city, and eco-travel, covering destinations in Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
-- The Pocket Traveler City Guides provide a synopsis of the top attractions, shopping and entertainment venues, and the rapid transit systems of some of the world's greatest cities. Getting around in a foreign city is simplified by encouraging the traveler to use public transit, and sites are referenced by both their street address and the nearest subway stop.
-- Pocket Traveler Speakeasy Guides offer a simplified language reference in 12 panels. Visual devices such as color cues, "root" phrase links, and "plain English" pronunciations enable a user with no familiarity with the language to communicate instantly on the basic, essential issues such as booking a room, purchasing tickets, and asking directions.
-- The Pocket Traveler Eco-Travel Guides introduce visitors to the nature and sites of some of the world's top eco-travel destinations, including Costa Rica, Africa, Australia, Galapagos Islands, and more.
