WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

On an unfortunate day, I updated the firmware. All went well without a hitch.
The NAS restarted as usual after the update and I accessed my data just fine.

Played a few media files from it and it worked just fine. 2-2.5 hours later, I felt things were buffering a bit. So thought I will restart my router, but this did not fix. So I restarted my NAS box. It came up with all the share intact but empty. It still says the data is there but cannot...

Externally powered drives create a lot of nuisance.Getting slow,not working for all the power connections etc etc.It would be much wiser to buy 4 seagate 1 tb ext hard drives.More over who wants to pay 3000 bucks extra for the same amout of virtual space!!!

Product is excellent for startups. It has a feature for mirroring which makes the product very reliable, and very cool frontend to configure the access. Also this allows authentication against AD.Static IP also can be configured and this can be utilized as cloud storage.

it seems you have misplaces the information about this product with other one "IOmega Home Media Cloud Edition 2 TB External Hard Disk". I felt this after watching the video. I may not be correct but please make sure that information is correct.
