True, honest...
He looks at her and he falls in love! It's as simple as that! And it gets even more interesting from there on! What started as the story of a regular guy living a regular life, ends upon finding true love and never letting it go...
I've read I'm Not Twenty Four and I am madly in love with Sachin Garg's writings. His characters are so real and yet there is so much you get to know about yourself when you read him.
The character of Shubhro is my all time favorite character by an Indian writer. He is real and yet so enigmatic.
I just cant wait for this one, especially because for the first time, Sachin will be writing a story inspired by his own life.
I have very high expectations from this one and I am sure he will live up to it, no matter what!
Lots of Love and luck

The story of novel is fifty fifty. Story revolves around five friends’ Arshi, Kanika, Samar, Niel and Zeeshan.
Arshi is Samar close friend. She has a crush for him but the for the Samar she isn’t the girl with whom he can fall in love. Kanika, a flamboyant and sexiest character of play, is Arshi’s friend who comes to Delhi from Mumbai for studies in same college with Samar. Both Samar and arshi go to airport to receive kanika. But they stucked in jam. So kanika has to share a cab with niel. Both of them quickly becomes friends. Arshi has a crush for niel. And when arshi introduced kanika to Samar, who is senior to him in same college, he falls in love with her. Zeeshan and Samar becomes friends by an incident. Zeeshan a MBBS living a miserable life after break up with his GF. Kanika helped him to get back on the right track of life and hence zeeshan also felt in love with kanika. At same time niel show disloyalty towards kanika and they break up. Simultaneously Samar rejects arshi and expressed her love to kanika. He also gives her emotional support after the death of her mother due to AIDS. After rejection from Samar, arshi goes to U.S. for higher studies. After some time niel felt his guilt and wants to correct her relationship with kanika. Now kanika is in fuss. Three boys has crush on her. But at the end she chooses Samar and novel ends here.
Story has some cons:-
* After nine months arshi come back from U.S. Author doesn’t tell why she comes back. And whether has she completed her higher studies in nine months.
* Author does not tell what happens to niel and zeeshan and her former GF.
* There are a few grammatical as well as spelling mistakes in novel. Language is just fifty fifty. Author has introduced his own jargons. Reader can’t understand them.
* LAST BUT NOT LEAST the romantic and intimate sexual scenes played between kanika and Samar are not well elaborated. There is neither depth nor clarity in explanation of scenes. Howsoever scenes arise three or four times in play which tickles your nerves but the author has not given required strength and life to those scenes. Peak lines in novel are "Eventually I will free your breasts and my hands will take o'er. I will play with them in whichever way my imagination can run. I will kiss them, touch them, bite them and play with them." Page 140. That is not so romantic.
You can read the novel if you have nothing to do but to kill the time.
I had heard a lot of things about Sachin Garg â mostly very good. So when the opportunity to review his books presented itself, I grabbed at it with both hands.
I must confess that a village of characters is not my idea of a perfect setting. But it was nice to see that the story stuck to its original theme, and basically revolved around Sachin and Kanika, the protagonists.
Sachin lives alone in a small apartment. His best friend Arshi, who is a Roadies contestant, asks Sachin to pick his friend Kanika from airport who is coming to Delhi from Mumbai to attend college. At first, Sachin is irritated but then he suddenly has this urge to meet Kanika. They are stuck in traffic and Arshi informs him Kanika is coming with someone she met on her flight. Sachin is heartbroken.
Eventually they do meet and Sachin realizes that despite being the daughter of a divorced couple, Kanika Merchant is full of life and a fireball of energy. Our Sachin falls hard and fast, and they soon become good friends. Kanika, however, is already in a relationship with Neil (the guy she met on her flight). Sachin is very insecure because he has a wild crush on Kanika.
Predictably, it turns out that Neil is an asshole who was cheating on her, and Sachinâs way is clear.
The story then revolves around their love life, how they had to face tragedy in their lives and how they finally get back together.
My favourite part of the story was where Sachin writes poetry for Kanika, which was really really endearing but he was so ashamed that he wouldnât even confess. Right till the last page, I kept hoping that Kanika would somehow get to know that Sachin wrote it for her. But nothing happened; she didnât even know it was for her. But the lines he wrote were really well. Nice work there.
Although I didnât like the story line and the writing style (more on that later) there were still some good parts. The characterization was very well done: they werenât perfect, but ordinary people with common flaws â somebody you could relate to. Sachin Garg, who was isnât very nice looking but was very sweet and anyone would love to have him.
The worst part was the editing. There were times I wanted to tear my hair off. In addition to the dear old grammatical mistakes, his way of framing sentences wasnât good at all. The story is occurring in the past, but still there were lines which were written in the present tense. And then there were lines which didnât make any sense at all. Like: instead of âIâve got it settledâ it was âIâve got it a settledâÂ.
Also, while the book is classified under the romance genre, it often comes across as cheesy. And I could have done without all the sexual references. They werenât really needed.
I think the author is quite young but possesses a lot of talent. With some hard work, he should be able to give us something better next time.
