Jake and Josh are two young brothers taking their very first camping trip with their grandparents. They experience fun and adventure while at the beach, playing familiar games and viewing the wonders of nature up close. Pam's stories bring to life children's natural curiosity concerning the world around them and their openness to new experiences. When writing her stories, Pam focuses on how children embrace life with joy and enthusiasm. Her creative inspiration comes from spending time with her grandchildren and being able to experience their imagination, creativity and zest for life. Pam and her husband Martin have seven adult children and four grandchildren. They live on twelve acres of northern Michigan forest where they enjoy camping, biking and exploring the beauty of nature. During the school year, Pam volunteers her time in a mentoring program at the local elementary school. She mentors fourth- and fifth-grade students in reading, writing and vocabulary.
