Jasper's Castle

Twelve-year-old Jasper Taylor looks forward to his fall break at his Grandmother Barrington's castle in North Carolina. The castle has a basement door that hasn't been opened in over one hundred and fifty years. Jasper and his two cousins, Wendel and Victoria, will be staying a whole week at the castle. Once inside the castle and realizing that their grandmother is going to be occupied by Victoria's envious and selfish mother, the three cousins decide to go through the basement door. At first, it seems like just another exit from the castle, but after honest deliberation among the three, they become aware that they have entered a strange place. Crossing the threshold into the Land of Archellot, Jasper, Wendel, and Victoria find themselves thrust into the complicated lives of another people. Jasper and his cousins must decide if they are going to assist the Arrowheads in regaining the Palace throne.
