AKG K403 Wired without Mic  (Black, On the Ear)

Its a good headphone. Its louder than any other headphones out there. But, if you are a fan of deep bass, then I would suggest Sennheiser (any model, even PX series gives better bass). This one has good deep bass, and also reproduces all ranges of sound very well. You get to hear sounds you missed in your other headphones (Not talking about Bose, Sennheiser etc).

I've experienced several mid to high end headphones, but at this price point I have NEVER seen such great sound quality.
- Tight, muscular and satisfying bass
- Very good vocal presence
- Non-painful treble
- Loud, and very little distortion at higher volumes
- Great foldable, portable design
- Very decent external sound blocking

Some minor downsides
- The metal band is really tight on bigger heads, so it can cause discomfort

I have been using it for quite some time now.
At first even i was apprehensive since i did not hear about this brand much, but it did surprise me (in a good way) when i got this.
Its an awesome piece at this price.

The few things you want to consider are
- Since its an open type headphones, there is seepage of noise both from outside-to-inside and from inside-to-outside. It does not have the any noise isolation/cancellation aid.
- The head band is of metal type and needs some time to get use...

Almost well balanced sound. You'll love these headphones if you prefer flat frequency response while listening to music. (I do, as I'm very much used to listening music on my Sennheiser HD 280 headphones)

I wear a turban and use this headphone while going to office and return. Works well, loud enough that I can hear my music through my turban..... Good buy but I recommend not for those if you are thinking of buying noise cancellation headphones. The person sitting next to you can easily enjoy your music :)

The AKG K403 is great value for money. Provides great sound, compatible with all devices and the bass effect is awesome. The only drawback I found was the cloth-like padding, which makes it difficult to use while exercising (running, jogging, etc.)... the cloth gets wet due to the sweat and then tears off. Otherwise it's a great product.
