Low cost pedometer for a novoice
Like most of the other pedometers available in the market, this too does not have an option to switch off the counting while driving/travelling on plane, etc.
I liked the alarm feature when the alarm is triggered after I walk a preset number of steps.

This digital pedometer is powered by the Accelerometer Technology that measures walking steps and distance at any angle. As you needn't keep the pedometer horizontal to the ground for measuring steps, you can carry it in your pocket or slip it in your handbag. The device accurately measures steps and the distance travelled. Moreover, it can be strapped and tied on to the neck or arm while you're out for your morning run.
This pedometer features a large, clear two-line display that tells you the steps you've covered. It has a digital clock to keep a tab at the current time. Also, this pedometer has an inbuilt 10-step error correction system so that minor shaking or movements without consistent walking would not amount to steps walked.
The pedometer runs on a durable 3V Lithium battery. To increase the battery life, this pedometer comes with a sleep mode option, where the LCD is turned off automatically when not in use.
Want to checkout the amount of calories you've burnt after your workout session. This pedometer features a KCal burnt mode, where the amount of calories burnt is recorded. Its memory feature tells you the current and accumulated 7 days steps memory. Also, when not in use you the device shuts off automatically after 2 minutes.
