An Indian rock band, Indian Ocean has been creating incredible tunes since the 90s. Considered to be the pioneers of the fusion rock genre in India, Indian Ocean have been sponsored by Johnnie Walker. Indian Ocean’s second studio album, Kandisa is one of the most well-received albums that's been produced in India. This album showed Indian Ocean’s originality and creativity as a band. This release features stirring tunes such as Kya Maloom, Ma Rewa, the title track Kandisa and a few others.

The Eclectic Sounds of Indian OceanThis is a timeless album by Indian Ocean, and is a rare classic by any of the Indian fusion bands ever. I fondly remember buying 'Kandisa' first as an audio-cassette way back in June 2000. And when I played it, the sounds that came out simply blew away my mind! It was an experiment with guitars, tabla, and drums gone perfect! The rustic vocals of Rahul Ram weaved seamlessly into an intricate magic of some original, distinctive, and engaging music. Takes you to the depth's of the ocean.This is the best Fusion Folk album by the band, no doubt. You never get bored listening to this masterpiece. I also recommend Black Friday, Jhini which have some amazing sounds.

AwesomeAsheem Chakravarty... amazing music. they just played an awesome concert at chennai on a beach while it was raining.. was pure melancholic ecstasy. wish they had played kandisa before the rain forced them to wrap up..

Classic.Indian Ocean's third album is a timeless classic, which overpowers every other reason to own this Audio CD. Unfortunate that there no more exists a discount, but its definitely worth every buck you spend.
