Kane and Abel

Ordered on sunday and got it by tuesday, the book made for an amazing read. Over 600 pages long but it was so fascinating that i finished it over a day ( the last time i was glued to book, hmm, it was da vinci code). No exaggeration, but this book makes for an excellent read. Great humour, great plot, amazing twists and also those subtle touchy moments where you feel you are attached to the characters personally. A MUST read, and it would make a for a great gift to your loved ones. Long live, Mr. Archer.

One of the best sibling rivalry books out there. Archer is a master story teller of our generation and this is his best work in my opinion. I make sure I read it once every year.

No matter how many books i read, this book remains especially close to my heart. I first read it when i was 15 and was completely enthralled. It is the story of struggles, passion, competition, love, loss, betrayal and whatnots. A complete package. But above all, it is a book of destiny.

In the deft hands of Archer, this becomes a gem. You can relate to the characters, rejoice in their victories and mourn for their losses.

It is a classic in its own right, no matter what anyone says.

Kane and Abel was recommended to me by one of my close friends and it turned out to be the best bargain as soon as I read the first chapter. Kane and Able is a story of two men who grow up 1000 miles from each other and doesn't have anything in common apart from their birth dates. Jeffery Archer writing is so gripping that many a times the book becomes unputdownable. The book has everything in it- Drama, emotions, love, hatred, success, failure making it a complete package. By far it is one of the most wonderful books I've ever come across. So if you've not already read it, grab your copy now and trust me you won't regret it a bit.

This is one of the true gems of Jeffry Archer.He starts off with the birth of both the protagonists and then it's a real roller caoster ride!!!It would b a sin if I don't talk abt flipkart here.
