    Summary

RAW is the primary external intelligence agency of India, and the book deals with the different aspects of its functioning. This book is the first attempt of this kind by a retired Indian RAW agent, who served in the organization for 26 years since its inception. Every Politically Inclined Intellectual should read it !!!

This book is a treasure trove of information related to India and its Foreign Policy in which RAW played a very significant role. Infact, we as Indians have to be thankful to RAW (and Indira Gandhi) for the image of India which it projects to the world today. Though others have taken credit for it.

Author has written the book in the most unbiased way possible; though he did not refrain from sharing his views wherever he wanted to. But the credit goes to him in ensuring that he portrays the i...

    The Kaoboys of Raw

    Good one but not excellent.
The author seems to be loyal more to Gandhi family than anything else!
His non-stop praise for IG and RG proves this.

Deep Inside Intelligence belly of India

This book has been wonderfully compiled. Writer is having excellent knowledge of intelligence craft. His deep insight about Indian intelligence apparatus is heart-warming. It highlights the tight rope walk being done by Indian bureaucracy in highly volatile system of governance in our country. It is a must read for every enlightened citizen of country.

    Must Buy

Excellent Book. There is more than what meets the eye. Aptly justified. Many incidents that I was aware of, reasons for those happening, referring to the book is nothing short of revelations. Morarji Desai witch hunting Indra and how government of the day agreed to pay 3% of total soft loan back to the Iranian broker. Appointment to Director Intelligence bureau gets cancelled as the person refused to meet Sanjay Gandhi etc. Every page has information which makes one sit up read again. Impor...

    Clever author

As we know the author was a R&AW agent formerly. You will probably not be surprised when you see that most of the incidents in this book has been described vary vaguely without letting much actual information in.
    Live with that.

    Insider Story

B.Raman, one of the finest Intel officers & analysts, gave a brilliantly involving narrative about the working of R&AW. His candidness makes it interesting. However, only those interested in Intel & Nat.Security organizations may like this book.
