This book is the first attempt of this kind by a retired Indian RAW agent, who served in the organization for 26 years since its inception. The book takes the reader on a journey of the modern history of india including the 71 war, the insurgency in Northeast, the Emergency, and the war of Afghanistan. The book provides great insight into the working of the Research and Analysis Wing.

About Raman

Raman was an IPS officer who was transferred to the Intelligence Bureau in New Delhi. He was noticed by India spymaster P. N. Kao, who took him in the Research and Analysis Wing. He died in 2013, after a very prolonged battle with cancer at the age of 77.

Every Politically Inclined Intellectual should read it !!!

Have read again and again..its so interesting

This book is ultimate on RAW...it has opened my eyes to so many realities about RAW which never comes in public domain at all...B Raman's style of writing is also fantastic, I have read the book infinite times and it feels so good to read and never felt bore even once...I have read books by MK Dhar and others also about our intelligence orgs. , but this one beats all of them by great lengths...the book cover also of Kao is great and the best bit is the name of book "Kaoboys of R&AW",it fits p...

Deep Inside Intelligence belly of India

This book has been wonderfully compiled. Writer is having excellent knowledge of intelligence craft. His deep insight about Indian intelligence apparatus is heart-warming. Excellent Book. There is more than what meets the eye. Aptly justified. Many incidents that I was aware of, reasons for those happening, referring to the book is nothing short of revelations. As we know the author was a R&AW agent formerly. You will probably not be surprised when you see that most of the incidents in this book has been described vary vaguely without letting much actual information in.

This is the only authority book on R&AW so far

This is the only authority book on R&AW so far. Written by none other than a former employee himself and that too by one who has directy worked with founding fathers of R&AW. It is must read for any true patrriot of India. After reading this book, one feels elevated about India and it's capabilities.
No, Indian should feel sad about India's future, becuase of current turmoil in security situation in the country. This book answers how capable India is to take on these challenges.
