If you are running out of time and have already finished the College Board Official SAT guide, leave the rest of your time to this books.

On contrary to books of Kaplan, which come with clumsy and naive reviews which stand no chance to rigor of Indian syllabus, this book's material is succinct and to the point. Lot of Critical Reading and Writing questions have been recycled after 5 tests or so, but that won't be a matter unless someone solves each test 3-4 times to actually remember the question.

The way answers are told is good. Like I said, see this book from a new perspective not with the "Kaplan review" eyes. The essays section depends on student to student, but I feel for an average writer the material in the book is more than sufficient with explanation of 12 6-1 pointer essays.

Math section was a lil bit down. Questions pertaining to transformations or graphing, function and probability/counting are seldom seen and are irregular distributed among the tests.

On the whole I recommend this book in addition to College Board's Blue book and not as a supplement for it. I further recommend you getting SAT 2400 from Barron's(not Kaplan) if possible. If you wish to spend some more money go with Mcgraw-hill's 12 Sat Practice Tests, which I hope would be better than Kaplan. I bout my copy of McGraw Hill's; watch out for the review there!
