I had placed an order for Karbonn A18 earlier, but Micromax Funbook Talk made me to cancel that order that order a couple of days later. However, the specs of MMX FB Talk stopped me from buying it. It had no Bluetooth, single SIM, etc etc. And then came the Karbonn A9+.

Awsome piece for the Price.. ALl you want to have
1. At RS. 9220/-, 1.2 Gzh Duel core processor
2. Compare any latest brand and the specification you will have all of it in this piece (May be a littel less) but no brang can give it at this Price.
3. Camera quality is too good and skype works absolutely fine on this.
4. Its really a very perfect device at very affordable price...
5. Its amazingly light weight... even with battery inside...
6. All Andriod things works fine and touch screen is very smooth

Very good budget smartphone
I have been using this phone for about a week. Under 10K, this is perhaps the best smartphone. Touchscreen is responsive, all the apps run smoothly, camera quality is good (not great, but does the job). It has FM radio as well. I am using Wi-Fi and the browser is running well and the internet experience is good.
For those who can spend a little more, the Karbonn A21 would be a very good option, otherwise go for A9+.

flipkart delivered my a9+ on the 19th, though the expected delivery date was on the 22nd. now i ve been usin this phone for almost 4days WITHOUT ANY ISSUES....till now.
the battery backup is good though it heats up and drains power when you use 3g net. downloadin speed is awesome... it took 1-2 mins to download a 25mb app. i am using reliance.
the screen quality is vibrant and good to look at. plays videos(vent tried hd yet)crystal clear.
the camera is great during daylight(i gave some p...

Excellent phone, but beware of certain shortcomings
The phone is excellent as others have mentioned. I'll just add some things that are not present in the other reviews.
RAM available: 396MB
Internal Storage available: 581MB
Issues:
1. 3.5mm audio jack does not work properly with external speakers.
2. Phone touchscreen misbehaves when charger is connected.
Both issues were present even in the replacement that I got from Flipkart. These are design issues.
Solutions:

Good phone with good specs
I have been using the phone for the last 2 months. It works seamlessly with excellent specs. Its perfectly bundled specs is undone by its low battery performance.

1.2 Ghz Dual core processor - 3G browsing & gaming is very fast.
Touch screen is highly responsive
5 MP camera gives excellent result in daylight
Android 4.0 ICS is still very dependable OS
Cons..
1420 mAh battery drains too fast
Gets heated up very often
Still hard to find higher capacity compatible batteries..

Decent phone at a low price
Pros:
1. Fluid UI (Although it hangs a little if you overload it with multiple heavy apps).
2. Low cost. This is one of those phones that offer better features and specifications - Android 4.0, 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 4 inch screen - at lower price than their competitors.
3. Sturdy look. I personally do not like very large phones. 4-4.5 inch screen size is ideal for me. The phone looks well built, has smooth edges.
Cons:
1. Camera sucks. For a 5 MP camera, you'd expect a little better...

karbonn need to work on their customer care (which is 24X7X365 busy i tried the nos given on website )
games like temple run 1,2,frontline cammmondo can be played smoothly
camera:take 2-3 sec extra for a photo
multitasking is good
Both sim works ,skype work only if we change mode of camera from rear to front and still i am unable to make 3g video calls(or i dont know it i tried bsnl and docomo in moradabad)
only problem is the four physical buttons which work in hands only and during chargin...
