Karbonn A9

I see there are lots of doubts regarding the mobile, I was myself in doubt before buying this handset, as Karbonn isn't one of those 'Big' Brands. I bought the handset yesterday from open market for INR 9100 along with a screen guard (manually made by shopkeeper with some sort of adhesive plastic film, as standard guards aren't out in the market for this phone as yet). I was planning to buy it from Flipkart, but the handset went out of stock, so couldn't. I bought the Ivory White colour, I haven't seen the Black one anywhere, in all the shops, White was in stock. Now trust me when I say this, this mobile is AMAZING at the price, it's super fast, no lags so far, has a beautiful 3.8" inch screen, that's bigger than some of the other phones which are available upto 20K. I don't this you can get this configuration even in a 15K phone..
Whoever is planning to buy this phone, Just go for it BLNIDLY, it's a steal at such a price, you'll love it to the core. Unexpectedly, The camera quality is really good, which one wouldn't have expected, but it gives you value for money here as well.

CON : Just a single negative point that I could find about this mobile is that you have to press power button (at the top of the phone)each time to activate the phone once the screen light goes off, this is really a small little thing and you'll get used to it.

That's all folks, Go for this Super Phone.. and you'll love every bit of it.

PS: It has 512 MB RAM.

I bought my Karbonn A9 today morning...I was told I am probably the first one in Gurgaon Area.
Now to the features I tested:
1. Calling - no issues
2. Video chat via Google - no issues. Excellent video quality.
3. Still Camera - still to test..needs a SD card. Looks good though.
4. Navigation across apps list - no issues. Its very smooth.

This is a first cut review. I am still to use all the features, including GPS...seems you can connect directly to GPS satellites and not be reliant only on A-GPS.
Looks are great...I have the Ivory White model...and beats any other mobile in the price range or even above. About RAM, processor and all, I am going by what the manufacturer says.
Highly recommended and a Great Value for money if you are not brand conscious.

This is one hell of a phone, undoubtedly the best in its category....
PROS
Every single feature is amazing for its price range(9.2k)and clearly beats its opponents! The camera is what takes the cake as well as the processor!

CONS
The Karbonn trust! Its my first 'Indian' phone, the rest being Samsung, so I dunno how long it will last!

I got this phone today and battery is 1600 mAH.
Its an AWESOME phone.
Phone is working very smoothly, no problems at all.
Camera is very good. I am yet to click a photo but clarity is very good. Front cam being VGA is nice.
Ivory white is giving it a great look.
