Kenstar Vibrant CT 9924 Personal Cooler

Kenstar Customer Service: Very Pathetic and awkward. THe first day when I try to use this I foud that water was leaking out from the top of the tower. when I called customer care very prompt response and I got a message about the Request ID and details. Later after 2 days I got one more message that the request is closed, though no one attended to solve the issue.

Later being an engineer I myself started analyzing the problem and fixed by removing some blockades at the top of the tower.

Product: Is very good to use in summer. It cools the room of size 11*17 with all windows open in an hour an I feel to turn it off and switch on the fan. It blows out 12 litre of water for 6 hour run. It is bit noisy but OK with respect to performance

With temperature in Bangalore surging for the past few years it was really getting difficult to beat the parching heat without a cooler. I knew about this coolers performance as one of my friends was using it. I got a nice discount from Flipkart and i was very satisfied with the delivered product. It should work well in area where it is not very humid and it just needs to ward-off the warm air. 5 star for service and product.

Although I did not buy it from FlipKart, I thought I'll write a review about the product itself. I've been using it for past 1 month, purchased it from a nearby shop Rs. 5200. Things I like about it?

1. Most importantly it does the job of cooling.
2. I was worried that water might clog, n i have to empty the tank, but instead I have to fill in the tank every 1/2 days
3. It has mobility n it is very light. (U can actually pick it up like John picked up Pulsar :P
4. No water spillage.

Sometimes I need to shut it off because of excess cold.

Also one more point for whoever is facing water spillage problem. It happened to me initially too, then I looked carefully, I did not removed all the plastic from the sides, which was giving way for water to drop outside of the tank.

Overall I'll rate this product as 4.6/5 at a decent price.

Only thing found missing is a remote. Well you can't get everything at this price :)

Few of the customer complaints about water leaking but I didn’t experience that.
Does that the job of cooling.
I always keep the cooling point to Low mode and early morning around 4 or 5 am I am switching off the cooler because of excess cooling.
Regarding humidity: It neither make the area humid nor clear the humidity from the area if used in humid places.
I would recommend to use only in dry climate places and don’t use it in humid places.

It was unbearable hot in Hyderabad this year; and this machine is giving me good comfort inside while it is scorching heat outside. This really is a good buy. The two negative things about this are that it does not have a remote and it is a bit noisy but that is tolerable. Well you cannot get all the luxury at this price isn't it? I am happy using this.
