Durable Build
The Kent Gold Optima has a UF membrane housing which is spin-welded to ensure high quality permanent joints that prevents tampering and improves membrane life. A:These use activated carbon or UF for purification instead of electricity. Activated carbon absorbs impurities while UF contains a membrane that separates impurities when the water passes through.

Q:how does it work ?
A:some sort of filters blotting paper , charcoal and one more filter , it takes ages to purify 2-3 liters of water, regreting after purchase go for any other purifier

A:Yes, changed test water but UF Membrane is does not good work , uf Membrane slow motion purifier water given in the down tank.

I m not sure for others experience but yes for me it's working as I expected...M leaving alone and it's good enough for one person... N every mechanism needs servicing like our bike, AC ....So this needs too... definitely we need to clean up membranes once or twice in a week depends on quality of water we get it ( amount of silt n other ) and even it's good to
clean up the whole set up once in a week..as we purchased it for good n clean water ...So hygiene come under it ;-) Best wishes.

An average purifier
The filter process is good but after some time the carbon particles get carried away with water until the final filtration. Also, the spare part availability does not prove a good deal as some of them have to be changed quarterly and the most expensive cartridge which has to be changed every year.
Moreover, it might turn out to be very small for a family of 3 members. Post warranty service for replacement of filters costs almost the same price as a new filter. Hence it is recommended to dire...

It's small, and capacity is like 10litre.. that's totally 10L including filtered and unfiltered water. For the first 2 weeks it filtered very fast and now it got a little slow(after 3weeks of usage). There are no issues with taste and odour.
