Kids In The Backyard

Kids in the Backyard is a delightful book about children and their families. It is a remembrance of a simpler time when children didnt have all the distractions of todays world. We were happy playing in the backyard with our dolls, trucks and toys. Our imagination was all that we needed to entertain ourselves and each other. I remember when we got our first TV. It had a huge case and a little picture, and it sat in the living room on a table. Programs came on at 5 p.m. and went off at 10 p.m. We watched Captain Video, Howdy Doody, Gene Autry, and Roy Rogers, just to name a few. Saturday nights was wrestling, which my grandmother loved.
