Kinect Sports (Kinect Required)

I was quite curious about motion gaming after I bought my XBOX with Kinect. This game is quite a bang for your money, it can keep you entertained for few days.

The best part of the game is Bowling section and one is sure to get back at it again and again. Table tennis, track and field are other parts which you will also enjoy in a similar way.

It is just not the single player, but also the multiplayer option that commands a lot of attention. If you get your family or friends to play next to you it sure is going to keep you entertained and tied for couple of hours. Same holds good if you are playing against someone online (XBOX Live).

Football, Beach volley ball are very simple and are more like touch and pass. There are not many moments for these in the game. It makes the game quite monotonous after you have played it a few times.

Boxing can be very frustrating as it does not capture your moments very well, the only defence is moving your hands around your body. I would have loved to throw a punch like Rocky Balboa, but unfortunately the lag in kinect's ability to read the moments make it a real pain to play.

One last thing that left me a bit disappointed was the amount of challenges that are designed for each section are very less (i.e., just 4). There is no championship in any game modes (like in Sports Champions for PS3 Move).

With better Qulaity Assurance this game could have been one of the best titles to buy, but given the amount of success in motion gaming technology this game surely is 'One of a Kind'.

I am giving it a 4/5.

Bought my Kinect in October and this is the first game I bought from Flipkart. Prompt Delivery from Flipkart, hats off.

Now about the game:

Positives:
. Loads of fun filled games.
. Very user friendly,even 50 year old can try hands-on with it.
. Lot of physical activity, involves jumping around in the room.

Negatives:
. Only 4 levels for each game(Beginner to Expert), making it monotonous after 3-4 days of play. Further levels would have made the game really Addictive.

. Only good for fun during a get-together or a party.

I would Rate it as 4/5 for awesome User Experience.

As for the game it involves lots of physical movement and good for burning your calories. But it's a bit slow as compared to real games. Anyhow I'm not really complaining it.

On the negative side and this goes generally for other Kinect games also, if many people move around in front of the sensor, it sometimes have difficulty identifying the players which sometimes can be frustrating.

And for people who have a doubt whether games marketed in India will work in US console, so far I don't have any problem. I already both two games here in India including this games and it's working perfectly.

i ordered this game for my kinect and 250gb slim xbox 360 . the game is amazing , i am moving around in the room . even my parents who like to play games like chuzzle , bookworm and text twist on there iphones love the kinect and think it is revolutionary . the service is amazing i ordered on sunday , the expected shipment date was thursday but i got it on tuesday afternoon ( today ) .
i would probably get kinect sports season 2 when it releases in india on flipkart !!

Ordered it Wednesday, and got it on friday. Amazing games, and this game is so interesting it pulls in people who are generally reluctant to be part of party/family games. It is such a fun game (games). The great part is that you can go ahead against your friends/family for most of the games (like tabletennis, boxing, bowling, etc). Worth a buy.
