A King Among Jesse's Men

I make known to you brethren that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. Thus says the Lord who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it. Who gives birth to the people on it and spirit to those who walk on it, I the Lord have called you in righteousness and will hold you and give you as a covenant to the people, as a light to Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. Galations 1: 11 - 12, Isaiah 42: 5- 7, Psalm 32: 8 - 9.
