Imagine...falling back in time to eighteenth century Virginia walking its historic sites, and meeting its well-known characters. Eleven year old Kristin and her older brother, Jonathan, live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. Kristin, after seeking shelter in a storm drain during a violent cloudburst, awakes in the unfamiliar world of 1767 Virginia. She becomes intertwined in the lives of eighteenth century families, seeking to return home, but faces persecution that may not only make her unable to return home to the twenty-first century, but possibly perish in old Virginia.
