Action based adventure games are great for lazy evenings at home, especially if you can hook your system up to a big screen television to enjoy it even more. L.A. Noir is similar to the other role playing games except that it is set in the in the early 1940’s in Los Angeles. The gameplay is tuned such that the player gets immersed into the storyline and connects with the protagonist. The game utilizes revolutionary new technologies to render characters and environments. The facial animation technology allows for realistic facial movements and lip syncing according to how the words sound.
The game has been developed by Team Bondi and is published by Rockstar Games. It has a PEGI rating of 18 for strong language, suggestive themes and gang violence. The title throws light on 1940’s L.A policing and depicts a virtual universe where the lines between white and black are blurred, revealing plenty of grey areas.
The story follows a particular LAPD officer who solves crimes in the city along various departments in the police force. Players will find themselves investigating crime scenes for clues and will even be able to question people and pick out suspects and prime suspects based on these investigations.
