L.A. Noire (The Complete Edition)

received the game yesterday i.e within 2 days delievered to ma doorstep, had to handover to the timimng of flipkart, you are very particular about dis... game in top condition, and when i played the game, i am really satisfied... awesome gameplay, the graphics and the special cases just add up to the fun..... the most unique game ever... must have it in your collection, you won't be dissapointed....

I got this game 2 days back thinking that it will be good since its from Rockstar Games. Well it wasn't disappointing at all. But was not as I had expected like running over people just pushes them aside. People don't react if you aim ur gun at their face etc. which was so realistic in GTA IV. But keeping those aside the detective gameplay is just AMAZING!!. You should go for this game if you love to play detective games.

Pros:
1.Ultra Realistic Facial Expressions, you feel like you are interacting and engaged in real conversation.

2.Interesting Cases to be solved. Gets tricky as you progress in game.

3.Included DLCs with this version no need to buy.

Cons:
1. Not as realistic as GTA IV in terms of open world gameplay. The only downside which gets overshadowed by its Pros.

Bugs: Gets hanged on the loading screen(When Neon Lights come up check on google) which can be resolved by downloading a small patch in the game menu.

L.A Noire puts you into the shoes of a war-veteran-turned-detective, taking you through his investigations. It is set in an authentic and fairly convincing L.A, in the 1940s. With a unique and equally compelling story-telling and mechanics, very well done motion capture, this is a very memorable entertainer. *This version includes DLC content*

The PC version is a messy console port. Therefore, a few things to note:

— Post-installation, you're required to download a pre-patch in order to fire up the game.

— It does not look very good on DX9. If you can run it in DX11, do it! (You need to patch it to the latest version before DX11 can be turned on)

- The game seems to be locked at 30 FPS; even on the best of computers, you may to have a consistent and smooth experience. The motion capture in this game (specifically, facial animations) were (allegedly) recorded at 30 FPS, this seems to be the reason why the game is locked at this frame rate. There is a way to get past this but I wouldn't recommend it, because you can completely screw up the animations if you do.

Despite these issues, this game is well-worth a try. Highly recommended.

Hats Off to Rockstar and Team Bondi. They created a masterpiece using the best of technology available in 2011. Its not the standard Rockstar GTA type of game where you can just shoot anyone and keep playing missions. Its more like a movie and the game makes you feel as though you are in a 1940s movie. You play an LAPD Cop names Cole Phelps who is a war veteran.

Others might have mentioned this but i'll still go on to say it one more time that the facial expression and acting is absolutely phenomenal.The technology used in the game makes the people in the game extremely realistic and the acting of the actors who were motion-captured is very impressive.

You will not find something like this in any other game.
The gameplay is pretty simple and the game itself is quite helpful and forgiving for novices like me ( Its my 1st Xbox game). The tips can be turned off too though.

It is very engaging and a gamer needs to pay attenton to every cutscene and dialogue to understand whats going on. You mainly do a lot of detective work like searching and analyzing clues, interrogating suspects and witness, do some car chases and all.
The story is very excellently written and the developers have ensured that we feel every emotion of the protagonist.

Its a game evry Action/Adventure fan should go for, especially those who have lot of interest in investigations and crimes.

Really when i heard motion capture was being used for this game i so wanted to have it. But, i didnt own a console. One day i was browsing through IGN and found out R* is releasing LA Noire for PC . I just jumped out of my chair. Wow, i was so excited and its one of the first orders in Flipkart to.

About the game: As i said its one of a kind and should be played by all the gamer's just to experience the dram of the 70's LA OMG R* are kings when it comes to create a sandbox game. The game features a wonderful story of crime solving by taking up cases in each desk (patrol, homicide, vice, arson). Each and every case unfolds upon how you find out the clues and the best part is you have to get it by judging and suspecting whether your victim or witness is telling the truth or not.

Must say great work by TEAM BONDI for their unique idea and story.
