The Last Of The Firedrakes is an unusual name isn’t it. i had this book with me for a while but for some reason I could not pick up to read it, as I have read many young adult fiction books so I thought this book has nothing new to offer. But then I read somewhere authors bio that intrigued me to read this book, Farah Oomerbhoy is an Indian residing in Mumbai and idea of this book came into her mind while she was watching a painting in her grand mothers home. An indian written a fantasy book ...

The Storyline- Brilliant and engrossing. The author has very cleverly painted a beautiful canvas with words. One can actually visualize the events as one goes through the book. The mages, the faes and their magical powers all come live and transport one to those childhood days when fairy tales the chance to read a fairy tale was so tempting that one would not mind reading it on the sly hidden within the pages of school texts.

There’s love, there is deceit, there’s mystery and there is romanc...
