Do you want to learn from the Future? Do you think we can? You might try this book for a start. Here, we read about a new Society. They call themselves the Elysians. That's taken from "The Elysian Fields," a place of eternal bliss appearing in Greek mythology. But our Elysians have made some big changes. You might not want to try what they tried. But at least they had (most of the time) a sense of humor. So this book might entertain you. It is in a genre all of its own. Some would call it Science Fiction. The "Sci" is a bit shaky, but no one would decline to give it the appellation "Fiction." If it must have a label, the author suggests "Tragi-Comedy." For the modest price of $14.95, you may decide for yourself. This is the author's twelfth book. Most of the others fit quite comfortably into the categories "Oregon History" and "Travel."
