His Last Lecture, your first! It's fascinating how a man who knows that his days on Earth are numbered can actually approach his impending death with such panache! And in the process, he even manages to help the readers set a few ground rules for living life to the fullest. Randy Pausch had it all - be it a lovely family, a neat job, a wonderful life. Everything that a man could ask for! That's why it's hard to digest the cancer's attempt at playing spoilsport. I say attempt because even though cancer was out to put a full-stop on Randy's life, he made sure it served as a comma - not just in his life, but also in the lives… (Expand)

Amazing!!!'The Last Lecture' is a book which should be read by every person who really wants to appreciate life...Randy Pausch gives a saving insight as to what life really is..it is the voice of a dying man who has no regrets & yet has to bid adieu to a wife & children whose love he is not fortunate enough to have for long..after reading this book, i have learnt to rethink my choices in life, i want to become a better person...if a dying man can laugh at his disease & not give a damn about the limit doctors have given to his life, how much more can we cope with our trivial problems! This book is life c… (Expand)

Not a review but a doubt!I seriously doubt the sanity of those who have given this one a single star! A friend of mine gifted me this one on my 23rd birthday! I wish I had read it earlier. A book like The Last Lecture not only inspires you but also gives you a lot of courage and positivity while dealing with life. The quotes, the presentation, The pictures, the feelings made the reading an intense experience. Take a bow Randy Pausch.

It tells you how to live ! & not in a preachy way..." Don't tell people how to live. Tell them stories and they'll figure out themselves how to live their own. "

An Introspective Read...Randy Pausch was not a professional writer and this is not just another 'non fiction', 'self-help' book. He was a professor of Computer Science, Human Interaction design at Carnegie Melon university. He has worked with Google, Adobe, EA.

Heart rapturing book.Just fallen in love with the writer. He is the purest soul you'll ever feel in life. My eyes drenched in tears in many of the episodes. His love was so pure and divine. His purpose of writing this book is not only how to conquer childhood dreams but also giving lessons for his three children in his absence.

Caution : This book can change you forever. Its not just a book, its divine and holy and altogether a life changing one. Randy speaks about simple things which in a large picture become so important. There are number of aspects that Randy speaks about and all of which will touch a sensible reader. His strict football coach, the headfake, the credit card episode, a stuffed penguin toy for a failed less profile innovative project all define Randy. Its a book that I have read it again and again, gifted to every friend and relative of mine. In a word - It can change the way you think and change you forever.
