Lava mobiles has brought about a budget mobile and packed the device with a number of features. The Lava ARC 1 comes in a bar form and possesses a 1.8-inch screen which provides a resolution 128 x 128 pixels. The device possesses a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) functionality for users who require separate SIM cards for work and personal purposes.
The phone works on the 2G network and comes with a 0.3 megapixel primary camera. Messaging and calling from the device is done from the alphanumeric keypad located under the screen.
Battery and Storage
The Lava ARC 1 is powered by a 1000 mAh battery which promises the user a talktime of up to 3 hours when used on the 2G network. If left on standby, the phone will run for up to 120 hours. The phone can accommodate 100 contacts in its memory, the memory on the device capable of being expanded by up to 8 GB using a micro SD card. An 8 GB SD card is capable of storing up to 1500 songs which can be accessed on the inbuilt music player.
Multimedia
The device comes with enough entertainment aid to keep the user occupied at home, work or on the move. The music player can play MP3 format tracks, while the video player supports 3GP and MP4 format videos. The phone comes with an inbuilt wireless FM radio which is capable of recording audio off the user’s favourite radio station. Additionally, the phone comes preloaded with an F1 Racing Game to keep the user busy during boring meetings or while standing in long queues.
Connectivity and Features
The Lava ARC 1 can exchange files and documents over the USB port with another device. Additionally, files like music and video can also be exchanged using the Bluetooth function on the device.
The phone comes with useful features like Auto Call recording, Privacy Protection, Sound Recording and a choice between English or Hindi language support to make the phone quite a useful aid.

Piasa wasool
I bought this product on 5th of June even i placed order on 28th May now for the review:first battery is gud, second one is usb charger and micro usb connectivity, third one is without headphone radio fm play.
But no vibration mode and no internal memory, without memory card no camera run, no sound , limited wallpapers, limited ringtones,
rest is very gud phone with this amt. my recommendations go for this deal if you need cheap camera phone and songs, etc.

What else at this price..!!!!!!!!!!
First of all thank you FLIPKART.
I liked every thing about this mobile phone except:-
>Single speaker (it means same speaker to be used for calls as well as the same speaker to listen the music)
>It displays the contacts one at a time, so this means if you have many contacts to search from then it would take you minutes to search for that one contact..
>rest i think its ok ok because what else can you expect at this price...

Best phone in this range
I purchased this LAVA ARC 1 for my mother who did not aware much more about phone technology. This phone is as small in size as she can carry in small wallet and it is much light.
Camara, Blue tooth, game, mind blowing sound for music lovers, Wireless FM, Expandable memory, Stylish & Sexy look.. What else you need dude in just Rs. 999??
I show this phone to my peon and he bought 3 Pc. of LAVA ARC 1 + for his whole family. 1+ is also as good as 1. Must buy for daily and rough use....

Great mobile at this price
Its the best thing one can buy at such a low price... I am using it for more than 8 months and is working fine. The battery backup is excellent..One needs to recharge once in maybe 5-6 days..
The only drawback I found is that you are unable to remove any song from playlist. When removal is tried, the mobile gets rebooted for several minutes. I had to delete the entire playlist (using a computer) and then add songs again.
