LAVA KKT 40+

Before writing something on the mobile I wish to express my gratitude to Flipkart guys who filled my order in just two days - (18 Aug - 20 Aug) The mobile was delivered to me on a public holiday following a Sunday.

As for the mobile...this is an excellent phone at a reasonable price. It has all the features of reputed and expensive brands in this category and in some areas it is far ahead of them (Auto Call Recorder, Power Scheduler). Sturdily built, stylish in looks and easy to navigate. ...

I was looking for a phone with a really good battery backup - as a secondary phone. I initially had Karbon Jumbo K9 in my mind but then came across this phone. The battery of 3000mah seemed unbelievable. So I went ahead and ordered it on 17 Nov. I received it on 26th Nov which was the expected delivery date in excellent packing - a Flipkart trademark.

Now coming to the phone. I started using this phone from 1st Dec. On 1st, I charged it to full capacity. Its the 13th now and still about 75% ...

I'd rate this as a basic mobile, not a wide variety of features, except for the "houseold" types like torch, average camera ( has that exposure lvl control), auto call recording facility without beep, and a 3000 mAh battery, looks to stay long, but there is not much of features in this mobile to drain so much battery. It doesn't have games, and i couldn't even find the phone listed on the lava mobile site. The 4GB data card is filled with movies and a few video songs, i would be deleting them...

Poor built quality. I replaced the first one and thrown away the second one.
The Key pad came out on the first week itself for the first one.
cheep plastic, even your nail will create a scratch.
Only point is 8 days backup.
Flipkart did a wonderful job but not Lava.

very good phone for general use, if you are not interested in camera and other fancy stuff. Good sound quality, dual sim, big display. Video and audio running from the 4gb card is impressive. Fantastic battery life, lasts for a week for me. in fact I bought a second one to gift to my brother. He is also happy with the phone. Wanted to buy a third one but unfortunately it is out of atock.

I was thinking of a secondary phone apart from my Android which is a hell of battery hungry phone since I travel a lot, may be sometimes 1 week out of home. Since my old secondary Motorola L9 after serving me faithfully for 5 years had died down, I was in need of another one.

After some researching, I opted for this one, just looking at the mammoth battery. I do not have any other requirements of this phone except making and receiving calls. Rest of all the features even if crap are a bonus....

Apart from this, there is not much to this phone., you can use it for basic calls. sentence typing is a pain, its predictive input is poor.

Average camera quality.
I couldn't browse internet on this mobile, and all the apps for this mobile are of the .mrp format in china mobiles, so you can find only games in that format. jar files wont play.
reg games, you have very few maybe 2-3 free games, the rest you need to pay and register for 9 rupees. there is a way around this through by using 0 b...
