i am really diasappointed
The camera has a lot of bugs..... its so annoying.... the screen edges can be seen...... a lot of basic apps do not work! a huge dissapointment for me! i am trying to complain about the camera issue to return this mobile somehow... Everybody just praised this phone and fooled me into buying this! but you cant expect a lot for a low cost..... but it doesnt even have the basic features.... also.. the processor is very slow..... you can hardly install 4 app (cant install angry birds or talking tom etc.)

I received the product in two days of order, with the best packaging i had ever seen!! :) thanks again

Not too Good n Not too Bad For Low Buget Buyers Only.
Again thanks to flipkart, like as usual, very well and fast delivery service, compare to all other online shopping websites, where we have to wait n wait for weeks. But buying products from flipkart is one of the best chose. I got my order within 48 hours time only.
Now about this Lava S12 Android v2.2 OS Mobile handset:
Its Pros:-
1. Good and decent looks
2. Touch screen is good and fast too.
3. Battery life is ok ok not that good what Lava company says.
4. New and good 3D interphase

Cons:-
1. Very slow processor
2. The applications loading time is bit long.
3. Battery gets drain very fast if u is downloading applications form android market.
4. Internal memory is too low, especially for android mobile.
5. Cam is ok means it’s just like a VGA cam use to come in old sets.
6. Jack 3.5 does not work properly with external 3.5 jack cables.
7. Few applications which come preloaded are useless and do not work for long time.
8. Handfree which comes with set has very low quality of volume.
9. While using 16 GB SD card give hang & errors some times in between, when u’re playing games or using face book chat.
10. Watching TV on this set is one of the worse things, because picture quality is very poor.
11. GPRS work very very slow on this Lava S12 set.
12. This new slide IT keyboard for sms & email is made for guys/gals who have thin fingers they can only use this new application.
In last I wound like to say is that, this Lava S12 mobile phone is ok for new comers, who just want to go for its outlook show & are new to android market mobiles...!

LAVA S12 Performance
It was really amazing service by Flipkart. The Hand set has been delivered in short time and it was excellently packed and delivered very safely. And Then I opened the pack with great excitement and installed everything as per the instruction Manuel. Everything pops up very nicely awesome 3D UI and good touch response. Then I want to do the first call to my Mom. Thank god my Mom picked the call, and I said to my mom “Mom I am calling you from my new mobile. But my mom says only Hello, Hello….. Hello…… Then only I identified the Mic is not working. Then I rushed to the nearest LAVA authorized service center in Ashok Nagar – Chennai. And get it done. But I am very much Trist because the very first day my phone got dismantled in front of me. Finally the service engineer said to me that “everybody has the same problem those who buy the mobile through flipkart particularly LAVA S12 Handset. Many customers have the complaint either the mic is not working or network problem.”
So I kindly request Flipkart to get the tested Mobiles and deliver it to their loyal customers.

600 mhz Is Quiet Good But Fails To Load Games Quickly - ( Angry birds Took 2 Mins To Start )
Camera Is Quiet Good - But Flash Missing
Go Launcher / Spb Launcher Is Default Which Is Quiet Annoying
Touchscreen Is Good
Sound Quality Is Awesome
And Watching Movies And Videos Is Fun
