Lava W200 3G Router

My first product shopped from flipkart - excellent delivery services (ordered on Thursday evening and delivered from Delhi on Friday evening 4p.m) from WS-Retail
I could immediately connect my laptop and my blackberry mobile with this device wifi using my 3G Airtel dongle (Huawei E1731).
Great Device - i hope my first impression & ease with this device lasts longer!!!


Update: 25 Dec - I switched to airtel 4g but this won't work with it. I finally put it on sale at quick rand it was sold

Excellent portable 3g router for evdo dongles. I am able to connect my ZTE AC 2746 and Huawei EC 122 with relaince EVDO network.
To connect with reliance network, in router setting enter 3G dial no. as #777, and 3G user id and password both your phone number, save the settings and your are ready to connect.

The battery back of the product is good and is about 3-3.5 hrs and wifi network works well in 20-25 feet radius. You can go for it if your are having ZTE AC 2746 and Huawei EC 122 EVDO...

LAVA W200 modem works perfectly with 3G dongles but supports only some models of EVDO. So check your EVDO model before decide to buy this. Couple of good features...
1. Very compact
2. Connect as many as devices without any speed breakup
3. Signal strength is excellent within 20-30ft radius
4. Good power backup upto 4 hours
5. Mobile can be fully charged through it's power bank

I had purchased this router three months back. Flipkart delivery is excellent.
But this is a cheap product and not upto the mark. Go for other products even if they cost a tad more.
The charging cord is small in length and comes without a charger which has to be purchased separately.
It has its own preferences for data cards which is not very clear and does not support airtel e153 modem. So be sure which modem you are using.
Manual provided lacks clarity though setting up a supported modem is...

i have use this product it works with my relince netconnect , range is good, it can also be used as a power bank...here in home, at ground floor relince netconnect signal strength in less so i decided to buy a router so that i can keep the dingle in 1st floor where signl strength is high and i can work down stare using wi fi . after a lot of research i find lava w200 will be apt for me ( price) . it worked!! the key is settings at first...2-3 hr back up it works fine

Its really a good product for those who don't have a wired LAN and uses datacards. I uses MTS ZTE AC2787 datacard and it connects to it effortlessly.
I have once use it with wired LAN with static IP in my office but after using it, I was not able to use it with my datacard until I did a complete reset.
The product has really a lasting battery life. But it would be great if it comes with a charger.
It's a really good buy.

Working very well.. worked well and automatically detected and configured my MTS Mblaze data card and connected to 3G network.. (in my case EVDO)... but battery back up is around 2.5-3 hours.. other than this, it is a fine product.. i shall recommend it to any one.. if you want more backup.. then I recommend LAVA W500.
