Learning Of A Foreign Language With The Mobile Phone In (Paperback)

The area of a design solution for a small device and an educational tool used without the direct guidance of a teacher is a relatively unknown territory, only explored in the last 5-10 years. Today's mobile devices - smart mobile phones and PDAs have a processing capacity comparable to the personal computers from 10 years ago. These devices have been mainly explored for the purposes of communication and socialising, whereas their enormous potential in the educational field have not yet been sufficiently addressed. There is a possibility to use mobile devices in almost any educational field, teaching virtually any subject, but in the scope of this project the attention is focused on the teaching and learning of a foreign language with the help of a handheld tool, i.e. the smart mobile phone.
