
This volume is a collection of twelve papers,which is a sequel to two earlier volumes of the series 'Learning to Share',published in 1997 and 2001. Similarto earlier volumes, this volume also assemblesthe experience of many authors. It hopes to carry forward the messageof the power of sharing and people's participation to attain a widevariety of objectives ranging from needs assessment, community participation,enhancement of social capital, capacity building, resource mapping for planning,eliciting community worldviews, and generating sustainable livelihood opportunitieswith policy implications.
