I finally got my laptop today after a wait of 8 days (As intimated earlier by Flipkart) and the wait is totally worth it. Worth every buck. A detailed review for the layman and the techie.

I just bought this laptop a week ago, and have literally faced no issues whatsoever, including the common touchpad problem as mine was manufactured in november 2012. The Graphic capabilities of the Nvidia GT650M 2GB GDDR5 are monstrous and is better than the Alienware M14X's Nvidia gt650 M 2 GB DDR3 and gives a constant 40-60 fps in 1080p (FULL HD) resolution on High settings in any 2013 game. Its a great laptop.....you can read those things in other reviews.
It has an ELAN touchpad. My touchpad malfunctioned a few times. I talked about it to Lenovo, they told me that they would replace my touchpad(hardware, I'll get new Synaptics touchpad).
The specs are great for the price , believe me........ Eye catcher is its red colour backlit keyboard !!!

A Mid range gaming laptop
@above : this is one good mid range gaming laptop u will find in terms of money. I did a big research and m still doing on what laptop to buy. This definitely is a better buy than the HP one. This would give u good FPS on the major high end graphic games so not to worry. u can definitely go ahead with this

A nice gaming machine
I bought my Lenovo Y500 from a dealer and not from Flipkart. My primary purpose of investing in a gaming laptop was to run microsoft flight simulator. With 650M graphics card it runs FS9 with high end add on aircraft at over 60 Frames and FSX with add on aircraft (PMDG 737 NGX) at around 20 frames. So FS9 would be the preferred version to run on this machine.

this laptop is more than a laptop , it is a great desktop replacement . Buy it blindly ,it has everything which makes it the best laptop in the market, it has the best processor ,powerful fan,best graphics card and perhaps the best display.
about the touchpad problem, yes there is a problem the touchpad sometimes senses touch without being touched. You can take the laptop to customer care and they will sort out your problem. Dont be carried away by negative advice of people,this is far better...
