Bang for your buck

A really good mouse at first glance. its 10 cms in length and 8 cms in width. The LED above the silver button is used to toggle the dpi(in other terms, the sensitivity of the mouse).

The side silver buttons are good for navigating webpages to go back and forth.

The scroll wheel is sturdy and offers the right amount of resistance while scrolling, whereas the mouse clicks are pretty much the same as any other mouse in this range in the market.

It feels pretty light while using and can also be used on glass surfaces without any glitch.

It feels pretty light while using and can also be used on glass surfaces without any glitch.

An important thing I noticed is that though most of the body is covered with a rubberized surface, the build quality still feels a bit plasticy which reveals that its not a high end mouse.

Pros :
1. Comfortable
2. Works on any surface including Glass
3. Has back and forward navigation buttons
4. Looks good
5. Adjustable sensitivity

Cons :
1. Though looks fully rubberized, feels kind of plasticy and therefore cheap.

Conclusion :
A really good mouse that I would recommend to anyone who would want a cheap, sensitive and good looking mouse.

Bang for the buck gaming mouse

I was in the market for a gaming mouse since my run of the mill rodent was failing on me so while looking at the Logitech G300/400, I accidentally stumbled onto this. Had the money but didn't really feel like spending a 4 digit sum on a mouse right now so I opted for this. Not a single pro review going around so apart from the reviews on this site from the customers who bought it, there wasn't much to go on apart from the Lenovo brand name so it was a bit of a gamble but its been a solid product so far.

Thoughts:

Not a single pro review going around so apart from the reviews on this site from the customers who bought it, there wasn't much to go on apart from the Lenovo brand name so it was a bit of a gamble but its been a solid product so far.

Thoughts:
1-First things first, Flipkart, as I have come to expect of them, were very prompt with the delivery of the product. It was "available" as opposed to "in stock" so it would take 3-5 days to deliver it and deliver it in that time frame they did. Ordered the mouse on a Monday night and it was delivered on Friday afternoon all the while being kept in the loop via email and sms.

2-Now onto the mouse itself-seems to be a very solid product. Good build, lightweight, aesthetic value, sturdy buttons, scroll wheel is quite silent, comfortable grip for both palm and claw gripers.

3-Two dpi setting of 800/1600 for your desktop, web browsing and gaming needs.

4-Works on most surfaces being a laser mouse. Get a decent mouse pad if you can and the navigation will get even better.

5-Its plug and play but there's no bundled software with it to configure the buttons but like someone else mentioned in one of the reviews, you can use "X-Mouse Button Control 2.4" to configure the buttons.

6-Speaking of buttons, the whole reason behind me buying this mouse was to have the extra thumb buttons at my disposal while gaming so I could avoid having to assign some far reaching buttons on the keyboard. Well now the thing is they don't work in every title. I fired up Dead Space 2 first and it didn't recognize the buttons. Well needless to say I was very disappointed. Next up was Mass Effect and here only one of the two buttons could be assigned at one time. Then I installed F.E.A.R and S.T.A.L.K.E.R and here I could assign both of them as mouse button 4 and mouse button 5 so fortunately it wasn't a letdown on all fronts. This mouse doesn't seem to like 3rd person shooters I guess :-P

There are a few other cheap supposed gaming mice scurrying around on Flipkart with similar features which are not that much cheaper than this to be honest, so I would recommend folks to go with a brand name. The next step up from the M6811 is probably the Logitech G300 costing 1499/- here which means the price difference is more than 800Rs so if you are shopping in the sub 700 price range and don't want to drop a fortune on a gaming mouse, this is something you should go for over its peers without much thought.

Value for money.

Reason I bought this.
1.Needed a high dpi mouse for my photoshop/illustrator work and some gaming once in a while.

Pros.
1.Good fit for my hand.(i am a 'palm grip' guy.check google if you dont know what palm grip is)

2.Good rubber thumb rest/grip.

3.good positioning of side buttons.

4.perfect rolling fluidity of the scroll.

5.Amazingly smooth(i am using a 'razer goliathus-grip' mouse pad).works average on a smooth table top/generic mouse pads.

CONS:
1.No dead rest/grip for little finger, which is a must for a mouse this size.

2.No mouse button configuration software from lenovo.(tough...

P.S.-I am using a Razer Goliathus-grip mouse pad.I would suggest you buy a good mouse pad with this mouse.a generic pad or a table top wont do justice to this mouse.

Best value for performance

I have been using this for a while, and let me tell you - at this price you won't get a better laser mouse. While you may want to install some mouse button remapping software for standard windows work, in modern games the extra buttons can be mapped easily and are pretty handy.

The performance is very nice, and the grip is almost perfect... not for small hands, though. The DPI switch works perfectly and the difference is pretty much noticeable. The performance is very nice, and the grip is almost perfect... not for small hands, though. The DPI switch works perfectly and the difference is pretty much noticeable. The laser sensor is very sensitive - you can put the mouse on your palm and no matter how calm and still you are, the cursor will still shake at high DPI, showing you the sensitivity. This comes pretty handy in designing softwares.

The mouse responds well to any surface, even clear glass. But due to it's high sensitivity, you may want to discard your velvety or matt-finish mouse pad and use a rather polished surface. A clean desktop works perfectly, as with me.

As always, flipkart's delivery and was good, while the packaging was a bit awkward - but effective, nonetheless.

A solid 5/5 from me.

Gaming becomes cheap-ap13 recommended

Have been using this mouse for a while now...
First of all optical vs laser:
This one being a laser mouse I had doubts over its performance as generally its OPTICAL winning over LASER.
This one's no different however in terms of sensitivity and PRACTICALITY-its good: It moves as expected.
Its got no bad mouse acceleration also no complaints of mouse hovering around when you lift it up during the action as complained by other cheap laser mouse users.
However don't listen to all those 'changing dpi on the fly' advantages- its got no practical use-you never keep on pressing that dpi button con...

All the five buttons give a nice feedback with good positioning of the extra two buttons.
Also the thumbrest (the term I use for the weird extra base on the left side) is useful especially for users like me who keep on lifting their the mouse while playing.
There is no out-of-the-box software provided for using the extra buttons for which one can easily use the third party software 'x-mouse button control'.
All in all a good five-buttoned laser mouse - a steal if priced for anything less than Rs.500.

Decent

Ergonomic, nice to use in hand. All in all a good 4 button mouse in this price range. The side buttons are a bit clumsy though, but overall it fits wonderfully well in the hand. (View complete review)
