LG DV622 DVD Player Reviews

I bought DVD , am using a SONY DVD player ..Its giving the message "This DVD is presented in 16:9 anamorphic format.If the images appear stretched and you have 4:3 television,make sure that ur DVD player is set to 4:3 letter box mode."

What to do ?

if you are planning to buy this DVD than go ahead its value for u money and it plays AVI format through USB pendrive & the draw back is it does not the led display...overall it is good and suggested....................

I wanted to have USB player which can play torrents. Searched and compared among Philips, Sony, LG. There was only 1 product of LG and many in philips and sony. What I found good was it supports DivX which is mostly supports in Torrents. So I am glad that I have got what u I wanted.
So if any one looking for DVD I suggest to look what kind of format and codecs u wana play.
I find LG as very good for user to get use to and comfort. I suggest all for this... Worth for the money...

except for the poorly constructed usb menu and the fact that this dvd player can only detect a hard drive or pen drive which is of a fat32 file system , everything else is good for this price.flipkart \m/

I bought this DVD player for myself and I bought the SONY DVD (Sony DVP-SR320)player for my parents (Both from Flipkart).
Comparing the two, I can say that LG DVD player not only has a better interface but it also plays more formats than Sony. Both are good but I find LG better.

awesome packing and delivery by Flipkart. i was looking for a player that plays .avi files from USB - it recognizes .SRT files too. satisfied with this player! remote is kinda small.. but manageable. These days many movies are coming out in bluray formats (.mkv files) which this does not recognise. If you are ready to spend 3k extra.. buy a blu ray player.

Good DVD player. The cheapest one with all the features.
But, there is no LED display. That's the only thing a bit irritating. But, I knew that while buying.
It keeps all the promises that is mentioned on the website.

lack of led information is really irritating, and i don't understand why all dvd player does not play all formates out of the box.

It's their agenda to push customer to buy higher value products.

USB menu is bogus.

But core function which is to play dvd is good. i wish lg should have make interface more user friendly.

I GOT THIS PRODUCT AND ITS VALUE FOR MONEY.
You would expect the product to have some drawbacks because of the price. But there in no drawback of such. It supports all popularly used formats and all versions of DivX and XviD. And to top it all, if you put in an audio CD and a pen drive at the same time, you can rip the songs in the audio cd into the pen drive in MP3 format.
Other formats not supported:
mp4, flac, ogg
