worst experience
i have brought this product 6 month ago from great eastern, kolkata. first 6 month it was good and well behaving. But still i think that it was under powered and tooking longer time than other microovens like samsung and others.
after 6 month it becomes horrible experience for me.
it becomes mal-funtioning sometimes. only 1 min button is working other two 10 sec and 10 min are not working properly. but if i put the switch off for long hours it becomes funtioning. so a kind of random behaviour. and also the convection, grill etc buttons are not working properly.
now its time to contact customer service as it is under 1 year warrenty. My god, this company claims that they will solve the problem within 24 hrs. believe me i cannot contact to both the regional service centre and to the main customer care(greater Noida) toll free no 1800180999, its busy all the time. Although i have mailed to them still no replies no phones, its now 3 days past. i really dont know what to do.
i strongly recommend you guys not to buy any LG products, buy SAMSUNG, at least customer service is available for 24 hrs.
The service trap
Well think twice before you buy LG Microwave..
my year old LG microwave oven (MC-7148MS) started sparking inside, being a technical person I understood the problem and called up the service centre to deliver me a minor part (as it is not available outside). They replied Rs.50 will be added as delivery charge and about 12% tax will be added to the MRP of the parts, I agreed.
But the guy who supposed to deliver the part which was merely of Rs.27 (you read it right) argued and charged Rs.311 imposing the service charge.
I called everywhere possible to short out this cheating but in vain.
So I conclude as
1. No co-ordination with national call centre and local LG service providers
2. You cannot repair your own product yourself (even if you can) because you won't get the parts elsewhere and be ready to pay hefty service charge for any petty service.
3. A trap of least warranty (that too conditional) which force you to buy extended warrenty helplessly.

Order cancelled after 5 days :(
When I booked this product, it was showing as available at all locations. But after 5 days, the order got cancelled automatically. When I called customer care, they said that the product is out of stock and it cant be delivered. Now again when its available, it says that it cant be delivered to that location.
Why was I able to book the product at the first place if it was out of stock? Why it took Flipkart 5 days to realize this?
This was a big disappointment as I have to gift this to my sister in law. Never expected this from Flipkart. :(

Value For Money Product
This Oven is worth every penny I paid. Its been a week since purchase. I've already baked a cake, strudels, bagels and also roasted meat. OTGs will have a run for their money. I have a bachelor lifestyle. I do 90 % of my 3 meals in this now. As I said excellent value for money.
