Liar's Poker is an amazing book, readable, funny and, in places, simply terminal. The brokers author brings to life are more memorable and grotesque for their bingeing than the stereotypical coke-sniffers of recent insider-fiction. This is a highly immoral book and all the more entertaining for being so unashamed. The joy of the book comes in its rich cast of characters, with nicknames such as the Human Piranha......explained by the author with clarity and humour. And a bonus feature is that one ends up with a working understanding of the bond market.
