Life Among The Grasses

Beverly Fox was born in 1936 and grew up in a mining camp amidst the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Her family moved to Washington when she was sixteen. The city of Seattle brought many changes into her life. An unhappy marriage left her with four children, alone. She nursed to provide for them as Satan entered her home in the form of a gang of ex-convicts out of Walla Walla Prison. The end result was months of drugs, crime, and violence ending as she led a chain gang into prison, herself facing fifteen years behind bars. She escaped to become a Federal fugitive, but her Heavenly Father helped her return, surrender and face her punishment. Upon her release, full of pain, rejected by everyone, she hid among the mountains of the Cascade Range in an old 1949 Ford school bus, in the forest, writing this true story. Growing marijuana for her medicine led her back to prison, facing another long term. but again her Heavenly Father came to her rescue. He stripped her of every addiction? marijuana, alcohol, cigarettes, and men?helping her resolve old issues to bring forth her Life Among the Grasses.
