About Michael Robotham

Michael Robotham is an Australian writer known for his crime fiction novels. He has also written The Suspect, Lost, The Night Ferry and Shatter.

Robotham won the Best Novel Ned Kelly Awards for Crime Writing in 2005 and 2008. He was also awarded the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for Best Thriller by the Crime Writers' Association (UK).

Outstanding thriller!!

This is a wonderful work by Mr. Michael Robotham.This was the first one by this author that I read...and what more....its amazing...It holds and continues the suspense till the end.....nowhere seems to be stretched unreasonably. I would surely recommend this to all readers!

well done

when i read this book i feel like the writer has been in the situation the way he describes every moment and movement and situation too. its like he has been to jail to know everything he has written… i feel like I'm in the situation too… very well written book… a must read crime story.. its just perfect..as expected.i don't read books i hate reading books but this book caught my attention.. i won't lie but this is the first book i have felt like reading non stop.. everyone must read.

One of the Best Thriller Books I've Ever Read...

Believe me, I'm an avid reader and have read many top authors. This book gave me goosebumps. The plot created by author was so real and thrilling than I was drowned deep inside the book. You can actually feel the pain and thrill the protagonist is going through.

Life and Death by Michael Robotham

Fast moving book which keeps the reader engrossed till the end. Well written and the progression of the story interspersed with the flash backs makes interesting reading .The plot is well balanced and acceptable with reality

On the whole a very good read. Though my first book by this author I throughly enjoyed reading it.

Brilliant

This is a good read. I don't have high hopes for crime novels but this is something refreshing. I didn't buy this book from flipkart but that didn't stop me from writing this review. This is the first book i read of Robotham and i feel like i should read all those previous novels. He wrote as if he's been there done that. I would suggest to read this is if you are into reading fiction at all. It's not the best book of all time but it'll be a good time pass.

Marvellous gem from Robothom for thriller Fans

Finally a book where you will feel satisfied with everything.... And with everything I mean everything the plot, the characters, locations and the climax......
Audie Palmer runs away from the Prison on the last day when sentence was about to be completed. Nobody knows why a free man would do it... And people who know want Audie dead at any cost... Audie is a strong willed man who will do anything to survive as he has to fulfill a promise which he never shared with anyone...

Just okay

well it was a pretty nice book 2 read. 4 those who havnt read buks by Dan brown n Sidney Sheldon u wil find it a good thriller.
but after going thru Brown's buks u can predict the ending much earlier.
anyways still u can try it.. the story is a good 1.
