Life Is Peculiar

Life Is Peculiar is a collection of anecdotes in which the author shares with the reader a string of incidents-humorous, suspenseful or thought-provoking-in which she was either directly involved, or which were narrated to her. Being a German who had decided to make India her home and place herself in the "largeness" of the Indian theatre, she realized the "smallness' of events if viewed from a wider perspective. She also started to regard her life as an often chaotically colourful adventure movie in which she either starred as an insider, or which she watched from the outside. This book gives the reader enchanting, often hilarious glimpses of the author's inner and outer journey of discovery.
