Light on Life: An Introduction to the Astrology of India

I'm writing this while I'm 3/4th the way through this book. So far it has been a fantastic read. After understanding how complicated this topic can easily become, with all the cosmic permutations and combinations, the authors have managed to keep the text extremely lucid. The flow is excellent, the details are just about enough for the average reader to comprehend, the summarizations are fabulous, and each chapter draws you in to read further. They have covered a lot in these pages, considering that each chapter could perhaps easily become a book of its own due to the vastness of this field. I am certain this text will be my ready reckoner when I'm done reading the whole thing. A Keep!

This is a good book for beginners and for those who want to keep this book as reference. It is more like a basic summary of the basics of eastern/vedic astrology.

I bought it for 700, the price seems to have doubled !?!

As im writing this, the price is around 1500, I wouldnt buy it for this much...

Besides, I only bought it to add in my astrology collection, if you already know the basics of Astrology, this book wont add to your knowledge really...
