Lilac

Lilac thinks she is an Indian goatherd girl. She follows her pet goat into the Thar Desert and stumbles across a space craft. The space beings take her with them to the Solar Octave. There she discovers that her whole life is a chain of mysteries one linking into the other.
The story plays off in the Solar Octave, on the outskirts of the Andromeda Galaxy. There are four different planets in the planet belt:
Zenith - planet of crystal beauty inhabited by scientists called the Ancients
Zeroth - planet of mountains, waterfalls and cacti inhabited by Draconis
Brocade - planet of flowers, mist and mushrooms inhabited by Baldaquins
Luminous - grey, rocky desolate planet inhabited by Luminescens
In the Solar Octave Lilac meets Gnomon who becomes her mentor. She befriends Elysia a Baldaquin artist. At the Luminescen Feast she meets and falls in love with Caoinleain an Ancient. Lilac learns about Ire and the Steel faces, robotic creatures that threatens peace in the planet belt.
Lilac decides to travel back to Earth to look for clues to unravel the mystery of her own identity. Ire intercepts Lilac's space ship. He imprisons Lilac at his satellite base the Iron Tower. Lilac escapes and solves the mystery of her true identity. At last she know who she is and follows her destiny.
